Each module is 10 hours, delivered in formats such as:

💡 What Are Short Breaks and How Can They Fund STEMEX?

Short Breaks are services funded by Norfolk County Council for families with children aged 5–17 with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). STEMEX is now an approved Short Breaks provider across Norfolk.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Gather supporting documents (e.g., school reports, therapy assessments)
  2. Apply online at norfolk.gov.uk/shortbreaks
  3. Wait 2–4 weeks for approval
  4. Once approved, book STEMEX workshops using your allocated flexible sessions

MODULE STRUCTURE

  • Ten 1-hour sessions
  • Five 2-hour sessions
  • Seven 1-hour + two 90-minute sessions
  • Longer 2–3hr sessions for complex projects (pre-arranged)

  • Individual Support (1:1 or 2:1 for children with complex needs)
